Interliner Soster G is a weave made of cellulose fibers and polyester that is designed for use where high fire requirements are imposed. The fabric acts as a barrier layer between the fabric and the upholstery where the fabric prevents the ignition source from igniting the upholstery. When using barrier materials, special consideration must be given to the application of the barrier, especially when splicing and sewing.
As the weave is approved for the English, so-called Interliner requirements, it is an effective way to improve the fire properties of furniture.
