A MORE SUSTAINABLE RANGE: PURIA

PURIA – a bio-based artificial leather.

After many years of development, we can now present a unique material consisting of more than 50% bio-based raw materials, our new artificial leather Puria. The material is made from residues or waste from food production, which means that it does not disturb the food chain. The material is also 100% vegan and the back is made from GOTS certified cotton.

Puria has a durable yet soft and flexible surface that makes it suitable in many environments such as healthcare and care, sports equipment, home environment and not least in the marine sector. It is tested and approved to be used for children's furniture and toys and meets Oeko-tex 100 class 1. Puria has a finely embossed surface and is stocked in 21 different colours.

The product is of course phtlat-free and has undergone several tests and meets high standards. It has a high fire rating and meets EN 1021 1 & 2 as well as a high light fastness (6) which makes it suitable in a marine environment as cladding for example on board a boat. Puria is sold by the meter and has a width of 140 cm, a thickness of 1.1 mm ± 0.2 and a weight of 650 gr/m².
