The hook needle is perhaps the symbol most associated with the wallpapering profession. It is available in a variety of stoleks and roughs.
Our way to size the needles is that the first digit tells you how big the needle is (the higher the number, the larger the needle). The second digit tells you how rough the needle is (the higher the number, the thinner the needle).
This is about 80 mm from the tip to the eye (measured straight across).
That it is a needle with inserts means that the tip is not round but that it has 3-sided cutting tip to work extra well in leather and leather.
