Melbourne from Nevotex is sheepskin sourced from Australia.
A defining characteristic of sheepskin is its wool, and at Nevotex we have exclusively selected sheepskins from New South Wales, Australia.
The luxurious wool we have chosen is 15 mm in length. Our hides are approximately 10 square feet, corresponding to 0.65–0.93 m².
The skins are chrome-tanned. We currently stock six colours.
Melbourne is particularly well-suited for upholstery, but also works excellently for various interior applications.
Our tannery has carefully selected the right dyes to ensure high lightfastness.
Melbourne has also passed the following fire tests:
DIN EN 1021-1 & DIN EN 1021-2, BS 5852-1:1979, and California 117:2013.
OEKO-TEX® certified.
