Organic Leather

Our Organic Leather is an organic leather where the tannery only uses renewable resources exactly as it was originally done in the past, when tanning was a manual and natural process. The secrecy is different types of wood.

Organic leather is a chrome and metal free leather with unique touch. The leather is biodegradable and thanks to a new technology the tannery uses 40% less water, compared to traditional tanning methods. The next generation of luxurious sustainable leather has emerged. 

Our Italian producer is focusing on the environment and sustainability. They have been awarded with a Gold certificate of LWG, which is the world´s leading environmental certification for leather manufacturing industry. Furthermore, the tannery also complies with the strict Italian legisation on animal welfare.

The size per hide is 5,0 - 5,5 m².
Natural scars, marks etc. will occur, but it does not change the quality of the leather - it indicates that the animal has had a good life.
The hides are made on European cows, vacuum dried and finished with wax. The leather has a slight pull-up effect.

Colour shade may occur as it is a pure aniline and the hides absorb colour differently as it is a natural product.
